The Macallan 25 Year Anniversary Sherry Cask is the benchmark expression against which all other sherry-matured Scotch single malts are measured. Produced exclusively in sherry-seasoned Oloroso and Fino casks, the 25 Year presents the full depth of what extended sherry oak maturation can produce: natural color derived entirely from the wood, dried fruit and Christmas cake richness from the sherry influence, and the weight and structure that 25 years of Speyside maturation in premium oak delivers. No caramel coloring — natural color only.
The 2002 release is now over two decades from its original bottling, representing a historical vintage of one of Scotch whisky's most celebrated annual expressions.
