The Story
96 proof. Promise of Hope. Parker's Heritage Collection 7th Edition 2013 — the first edition released after Parker Beam's ALS diagnosis in 2012, and the beginning of the program's direct ALS research benefit mission that has continued ever since.
Parker Beam was diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) in 2012 — the year of the 6th Edition. The 7th Edition in 2013, titled "Promise of Hope," was the first Parker's Heritage released with a direct charitable connection to ALS research. The Promise of Hope title reflects Parker's and Heaven Hill's commitment to fighting the disease that would claim his life in February 2017.
Every Parker's Heritage edition from the 7th onward has contributed proceeds to ALS research. The 7th Edition is therefore the founding expression of this humanitarian dimension of the program — the bottle where Parker's personal battle became part of the brand's mission. With 11 bottles in current stock, the 7th Edition is the most available expression in the Wooden Cork Parker's Heritage collection, making it the most accessible entry to this important program.
