The Story
25 years. Sherry Cask Matured. Glenfarclas β a quarter century of exclusive sherry cask maturation from one of Scotland's oldest family-owned independent distilleries, presenting the concentrated dried fruit, coffee, and oak complexity that 25 years of Glenfarclas's traditional house style produces in the Livet Valley microclimate.
The Glenfarclas 25 Year is the apex of the distillery's standard age-stated range β above the 17 Year in the current collection β and represents the full development of the Grant family's 160-year commitment to sherry cask maturation. At 25 years, the sherry oak's dried fruit and spice character has deeply integrated with the Speyside spirit, producing the nuttiness, ripe orange, and coffee complexity that only extended sherry cask contact produces.
