The Story
136.1 proof. Uncut. Unfiltered. George T. Stagg 2024 — the most recent annual BTAC release of one of the world's most consistently celebrated bourbons.
George T. Stagg is the flagship of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection — released annually in extremely limited fall allocation, uncut and unfiltered at natural barrel proof. The 2024 at 136.1 proof continues the series at a high-proof point, nearly matching the 2023 (135 proof) and joining the 2022 (138.7), 2015 (138.2), and 2014 (138.1) in the high-proof tier of the series' history. The 2016 at 144.1 remains the all-time record.
The 2024 is the most current GTS vintage and represents the present state of Buffalo Trace's finest barrel selection program. Each annual BTAC Stagg is a different barrel selection at its natural proof — the 2024 is the latest documented chapter in the series that collectors build verticals of.
